Focusing on botany in North America and western Europe in the Early Modern period through the History of Science. Exploring the translation of plant use from indigenous societies to European canon.
2021–2023
MA – History
McGill University
Pursued course work in Early Modern European, North American, and Colonial studies and wrote a thesis on women in art and botany in 1800 based on Elizabeth Gwillim. Completed three Teaching Assistantships, two Research Assistantships, and was awarded a grant from the Dean of Arts Development Fund for a cross-disciplinary podcast.
